Style Shoot “Gucci” X @SupaFlyOne 2022
I was hired by a modeling agency to wear a piece by Gucci. I was given full creative freedom so I did what I thought was best for me. I was not chosen to be used in the published piece by the agency so…I decided to post the photos myself.
I was informed that this was a true authentic Gucci piece and that the agency was hired to market it. I have not heard from the agency in a while but I hope what they said is true and that I receive more opportunities like this one.
I am wearing a yellow gold tone Choker by “Gucci”.
Also, Coach has been one of my favorite brands of the past few years as well as Asos. In this style shoot I am wearing items from both brands. They are partners of SupaFlyMag.com.

“Madama Butterfly” “The MET Opera Live HD Experience” July 2022 By @SupaFlyOne
Can you speak Italian? Can you understand Italian Operas?
If not… neither can I but opera is one of my recent artistic interests and good for me and my study of the classical art The MET Opera (The Metropolitan Opera) : Live HD 2022-23 season has captions. I was able to follow along with the show. Many operas are written and performed in Italian did you know that?
In this post I address What the Opera is about? What did I think about the show over all and give my thoughts about my experience viewing it at the movie theater?

Opera incorporates singing and theatrics and if I am not mistaken maybe a little dance as well such as ballet. I am trying to invest more time watching and learning about classical style arts. I have always been into history and as I am getting older I find that I like to experience things of leisure like other ritzy people throughout history.
“Madama Butterfly” Is the opera that I saw. It was playing at a theater as a part of The Met Opera Live HD experience. This opera was performed and pre-recorded in 2008.
This particular opera by description resonated with me due to a few things. It was based in Japan, featured an American soldier, and the main plot was a relatable one that has been relevant for all time. It is the story of a mother, a child, and a distant unreliable unfaithful father. A relationship problem that still occurs and happens today and in similar ways.

The performance was great. I am not expert in the great voices of opera but the vocals of the singers were loud and strong. The music was very emotional and I really liked the sound of the orchestra. The musicians of the MET are some of the best players in the world and they sounded great.
The set designs were intriguing and this performance even incorporated elements of classical Japanese performance such as people dressed in all black, who were to be “unseen”, that animated objects physically such as birds and other puppet like animals.
I really like how they visualized the blood at the end of performance. I believe that this is a tragedy opera. You must check it out to see what I mean.

The screen was large and the video was clear. The ticket was $25. Pricey for a movie but this is not just a movie it was a MET OPERA performance. You could hear and see everything very well.
This movie theatre was clean and even offered very comfortable reclining chairs. I chose to eat some nachos and have a drink before the show started because I arrived early. I do not like to eat during movies or performances because the noise can be distracting and can make it hard for one to hear things clearly.

The audience of the movie theater was quiet and attentive. I would guess they behaved in the same way that people would at a live show. They even applauded at the end.
The performance was long, over 2 hours, and just like at a real show, thankfully, there was a 15 minute intermission for attendees to stretch, maybe grab some refreshments, and use the restrooms. I really needed the break it can be hard for me to sit comfortably for long periods of time.
During intermission people even chatted a little about what they thought so far about the performance and also shared about their previous opera experiences which was dope. These interactions and gave a sense of community.Although I am sure that a live performance would be a little more exciting and include a lot more viewers it was still very exciting.
If you see me at a screening be sure to chat with me. I would love to hear some interesting facts about your opera experiences. I am usually alone and could use some acquaintances to join at future events such as this.

“Nope Movie” Review By @SupaFlyOne Thanks To @Gofobo
In this post I give thanks to Gofobo.com for the free advanced screening of the Nope movie, my thoughts on Jordan Peele as a director, and my reaction to the movie.
Getting to see a movie in advance before the release date and for free is always a treat. Thanks to Gofobo I was able to see, what I think will be, one of the most popular movies of 2022 in advance. The theaters were the movie was shown was neat and clean and even looked super cool from the outside. If you ever get an advanced screening ticket from Gofobo I highly suggest that you arrive early to ensure that you can be seated by the the time the movie begins. “NO Cell Phones Allowed and Security Personal” will be present, which I appreciate.
The director of “Nope Move” is very popular and has a loyal following of supporters. This was the first movie by “Jordan Peele” that I have seen but not the first that I have heard of. “Get out “ is one that I have definitely heard of before and from multiple people. They say that his movies are unique thought provoking and have a lasting influence on the viewer. I am very late on my media consumption from the past 10 years and I am doing my best to get familiarized with the critically acclaimed and notable creations during this time period and all of Jordan Peele’s movies are on my list.
After seeing the movie the first thing that came to mind was that all the hype about Peele as a director is absolutely true.
In my tweet after seeing the movie I said.
“ I liked it a lot and got to see it in an early screening. Aliens, horses, mystery suspense, humor.”
In these days we see so many remakes, continuations that a unique concept for a movie is hard to come across. Not only was the concept great but the selection of actors was great as well. The super talented “Keke Palmer” and “Daniel Kaluuya” were amazing. Their skills pull you in to the movie and help you feel connected to the characters and their situation. This movie is not extremely serious or frightening although it does have its moments but most are comical and make light of the crazy situation that are happening. I heard that as an African American Peele tries to give a perspective most relatable to that of black people in America and he definitely did that.I chuckled quite a bit. The movie was awesome. It even included horses. As a critic it gets two thumbs up from me.

For those who have or will see the movie ….What was with the monkey? Will Jordan Peele make another movie based on the monkey? What did the Monkey have to do with the Aliens? Leave some comments and thoughts about the movie in the comments on this post.
