Here we go again...

...and the winner is...June 29,2010 BET Awards happened a couple of days ago.I didnt personally get to watch the show, but someone showed me this clip of Chris Brown performing a tribute to Michael Jackson. (Click Here!) I cant really tell if Chris is singing or not.overall it was a nice performance I think. The weird thing is he started crying at the end. I wonder what his explanation for that is. The dancing was on point, I found the clip very entertaining. Recieving awards this year were; Alicia Keys, Trey Songz, Nicki Minaj, and Drake. Serena Williams recieved sportswoman of the year. Video of the year was "Video Phone" by Beyonce and Lady Gaga. (Click Here!). Other artsist that peroformed that night at the BET awards were Eminem and Kanye West.
Sports Head June 13,2010 This week has been very entertaining in the sports world. The Cleveland Indians have been on a four game winning streak.A great game pitched yesterday by Carmona. He pitched the entire game...You don't see that often in any baseball league. I hope the Indians can pull off another victory against the Washington Nationals. The Nationals pitcher for this game will be Stephen Strasburg. This will be his 2nd MLB game.
The World cup is under way and team USA tied their first game with England 1-1. If you ask me USA looked pretty good. they have team USA marked as the under dog this year but we will see how things turn out.

Today is a national holiday! Dr.Martin Luther King Junior Day. Martin Luther King was a positive leader in the civil rights movement. He will forever be remembered for his speeches, goals, ideas, and dreams. He is one of the famous Black people who is a great role model for people of this time, and the future.
Even today people are suffering from from hard times. In Haiti their has been an earthquake.Their major sea port has been crushed and many homes and buildings have collapsed. Their is an estimated death toll of 200,000. 2.5 million people left homeless. For the survivos who are injured medical care is hard to come by. Even the hospitals have collapsed. Food and supplies are still very scarce, riots have broken out because people are starving. The best thing you could do is donate to an established fund. "Athletes Relief Fund for Haiti" is a good fund. This fund was started by Dwayne Wade and Alonzo Mourning. They are professional NBA basketball players. They have already raised $800,000 dollars since Friday. Wade donated $175,000 and Lebron James donated $100,000. You have to do what you can!Start by watching the news tomorrow around 5 pm. If you need a job the census is coming up I heard they are paying people $16.50 to start off. Things needed to apply! -Must be over 18 years old -Two forms of picture I.D. required -Phone interview -Their is a background check -A placement test of 28 Questions. * 17 correct is needed to pass -20- 40 hours a week -Apply on-line !(Here!) Below are some pics of just chillin:![]() ![]() ![]() To The Good Life...December 28,2009 Yes Yes! What a good night it was for Cleveland just this past Sunday. The Browns pulled off a victory and the Cavaliers .I can't believe the Browns even have a winning streak. The Browns looked pretty good .I'm glad they have some running game this year. Jerome Harrison broke a record also. This might be their year(crossed fingers. I was really happy to see that the Cavs give the fans a great show once again, (Click here to watch highlights!) Our bench is Heavy….real heavy. Moon and J.J. made the highlights. The big man Shaq got up about 10 ft. on his break away dunk! Shack is a brick house by the way. All I have to say is that when you are on the court, look out for Shaq, he might hurt you. I have seen two people run into Shaq and bounce off in the last two games. Man… Bron did his thing but how can Mike Brown just tell him to make a shot at the 3 rd quarter Buzzer.Nice glasses Homie! I guess that's what you call perfect execution or killer instinct.Shout out to Big Z for holdin down the press. LOL. Life is great I can't complain. Classes start back up in a few weeks and I am in no hurry. The only thing I can do is keep it moving!Ya dig! This New Years should be a great one. I feel kind of old because I remember the New Years of 2000 like yesterday. Last year somebody had a great New Years passed out in front of my house. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE. (Inside Joke). I cant wait for 2010 to get here. Man how does time pass so quick. Below are a few pics of just chillin. Twitter Goes Down?
|
![]() (pic from article) |
In this day in age keeping in touch is easier than ever. Some mobile phones even allow people to log on to networking websites and post their every moment and whereabouts to their friends and whoever else maybe interested.Sometimes I think technology sometimes is not as secure and dependable as some people think. When the twitter service went down for a couple of hours it was not unnoticed. In the article posted by CNN, they said people felt lost and out of touch because twitter went down.Oh Dear! LOL. |
